In 1980, Sara Galloway founded Fay International Limited with a mission to support corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Ghana, specifically focusing on providing girls and women with access to healthy maternity and sanitary pads. Driven by a passion for female empowerment, Sara dedicated her life to this noble cause, inspired by her grandmother, Sarah Thompson, who was a midwife in Gold Coast. Sarah Thompson's dedication to educating and providing essential supplies for the safe delivery of Ghanaian babies left an indelible mark on her granddaughter Sara.

Fay International Limited is proud to produce Faytex Classic and Eve Labour Pads, the only Ghanaian brand of maternity pads made in Ghana and trusted by midwives for over 44 years. Fay International has conducted numerous workshops on menstrual hygiene, empowering countless women and girls with essential knowledge and resources throughout. Despite facing significant challenges, including a chemical explosion in 2006 at a neighboring building that destroyed over 85% of their machinery and equipment, the company has persevered.

Sara's children and beloved husband continue her legacy in Ghana, carrying forward her passion and dedication to advancing the well-being of Ghanaian women. As a proud women-owned company, Fay International Limited remains committed to empowering and uplifting the women of Ghana, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they need for a healthier future.
